It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
This family-run boutique hotel opened in 2013 and is located within in the walls of Buda Castle at the northern end of the castle district. The hotel has 11 individually-decorated, quirky rooms, inspired by designers and artists such as Vivienne Westwood, Andy Warhol and Keith Haring. They all feature adjustable mood lighting, vintage furniture and rain showers in the bathrooms, and the overall feel is offbeat and stylish, but in a fun, relaxed manner. The hotel has a restaurant which opens out onto the cobbled streets and offers traditional Hungarian grilled dishes, and there's also a wine bar with a selection of the best wines in Central Europe plus excellent gin and tonics.
