Good Hotel Guide Review
Ready for its close-up, this Georgian town house in the centre of the historic harbour town has been stylishly renovated to include urbane, understated guestrooms close to the quays. It is owned by landscape photographer Giles Norman and his wife, Catherine, who have hung fine black-and-white photographic prints throughout the house. Above the gallery and shop on the ground floor, chic, contemporary bedrooms up the stairs are equipped with teas and a coffee machine, plus organic Irish toiletries; most have waterfront views. A spacious suite with handsome beams is under the eaves. No meals are served, but the bars, cafés and notable restaurants of the foodie town are within a few minutes’ walk.
