Good Hotel Guide Review
There are sun loungers and a hammock in the walled garden of this suburban Victorian town house, plus many other peaceful spots to sit and relax in. The modern hotel (part of the Eclectic Hotels group, see Didsbury House, previous entry) has large, airy sitting rooms, and handsome bedrooms spread over three floors, each stylishly homely and comfortable. Some rooms may be snug; the best have a private balcony or canopied terrace. All have good toiletries, a minibar and a butler tray with fresh milk. Breakfast may be taken in the bright conservatory. The city centre is a short train journey away. 15 mins by car to the airport.
