Good Hotel Guide Review
Riverside ambles and ‘by far the best breakfast of our holiday’ draw fans to this ‘very good’ B&B in a well-restored Pembrokeshire longhouse, a short drive from a pleasant market town. Eleanor and David Lewis and daughter, Emma Millership, are the ‘friendly owners, who go the extra mile’, say Guide readers in 2018. Bedrooms, in converted barns or a lake-view lodge, have plenty of thoughtful extras (dressing gowns, candles; ‘the fresh milk in the room was a lovely touch’). A family might request a suite of interconnecting rooms with a countryside-facing terrace. ‘Our spotlessly clean room had an excellent bed.’ Come morning, break the fast with smoked haddock fishcakes, a Welsh cheese omelette. ‘We can’t wait to return.’
