Good Hotel Guide Review
River walks, woodland stalks, in-depth talks – enjoy all this and more at Eleanor and David Lewis’s ‘very good’ countryside B&B. Converted barns, designed and built by Pembrokeshire craftspeople, house homely bedrooms, each with its own front door. They are equipped with thoughtful extras: dressing gowns and slippers, a fridge with milk and water, up-to-date gadgetry, candles, a hair straightener. A family suite of interconnecting rooms has a bathroom and a walk-in wet room, and access to a terrace overlooking vast countryside. For stunning views down to the lake, ask for one of three first-floor rooms in the newly constructed lodge. Attentive and friendly, the hosts provide generous breakfasts with plenty of choice. Lounge, dining rooms. Free Wi-Fi, in-room TV (Freeview). No background music. Parking. Children welcomed (cot, high chair, extra bed, £20 per night). 2 miles W of Narberth. 10 bedrooms (7, on ground floor, in courtyard; 3 in Lodge; 2 suitable for disabled; 1 family room; plus a 1-bed self-catering apartment). Per room B&B £95–£170.
