Good Hotel Guide Review
‘Nigh on perfect’, Mindi McLean’s ‘superb B&B with every taste catered for’ is in a restored 200-year-old barn at the heart of a historic village. Decorated with a blend of characterful antiques and artwork, bedrooms (one with a roll-top bath) are equipped with little luxuries: dressing gowns, slippers, flowers and home-made shortbread. In the morning, guests find a feast in the bright conservatory, ‘a gorgeous setting’ overlooking a small walled garden. The ‘friendly and attentive’ host provides an ‘exceptional’ spread of home-made breads, jams and granola, and house-recipe chipolatas, and has places to recommend for the evening in this foodie area. RHS Garden Wisley is ten minutes down the road.
