Good Hotel Guide Review
The eggs Benedict are ‘made right’ at Mindi McLean’s B&B, in this ‘beautifully and tastefully restored’ 200-year-old barn at the heart of a historic village. ‘Exquisitely furnished’ bedrooms (one with a roll-top bath) are equipped with little luxuries: dressing gowns, slippers, flowers and home-made shortbread. In the morning, guests find a feast in the conservatory overlooking the small walled garden. With a spread of home-baked breads, home-made jams and granola, and house-recipe chipolatas, ‘the breakfast is a fitting end to an amazing stay’. ‘Engaging, thoughtful and attentive’, the hostess has eating places to recommend in this foodie area. ‘Very easy access’ to Guildford, Woking and other Surrey towns.
