Good Hotel Guide Review
A taste of life at sea is creating waves at this large, contemporary hotel jutting out over Ocean Village Marina. It is managed by Lukasz Dwornik for Harbour Hotels. Ship-shape inside, it is bright, with colourful fabrics; porthole-shaped mirrors, vintage glass fish floats, a giant lobster, add nautical fun. A chunky white stairway leads up from the wood-floored lobby. Bedrooms have pale-toned walls, retro furnishing, a marble bathroom. A bathrobe, slippers, coffee machine and complimentary grog (decanters of gin and sherry) are supplied. For cocktails and light bites, the buzzing sixth-floor HarBar has wonderful (if also industrial) harbour views. Sea-sourced dishes features in the award-winning Jetty restaurant.
